The rules of science

 

Aristotle: The Four Causes:          1. Formal (a plan)

                                                            2. Final (a purpose)

                                                            3. Material (what is used)

                                                            4. Efficient (what causes change)

Science is a game, in which we assume no God, and explain all the data as natural causation.

 

Rule #1: Clear definitions

Rule #2: Look at ALL the evidence

Rule #3: Ascribe nothing to the gods
